Eray Aras

Computer Engineer in an Analogue World

Eray Aras runs an independent, two-person software studio based in Türkiye, founded in January 2023. The studio designs, builds and operates a family of focused mobile apps, each doing one job well; three are live on the App Store. The current generation of all eight is built on one shared foundation.

Trackkie is the studio's own product family: Trackkie Food, Trackkie Trip and Trackkie Sleep Together. The other apps keep their own names.

Trackkie Food

Pre-launch: in testing, not yet on the App Store

For people who want to notice possible patterns between what they eat and how they feel.

An AI-first food journal for meals, how you feel afterwards and everyday context. It is observation-first: it shows patterns from your own entries and leaves the conclusions to you.

• Log by photo. Snap a meal, an ingredients label or a grocery receipt; AI works out which one it is and drafts the entry for you to confirm. On a label, ingredients are checked against your own watchlist and AI notes what matched.
• Understand foods. AI groups what you eat into 13 common ingredient classes such as dairy, gluten, caffeine and FODMAPs, in any language.
• Insights in plain words. Patterns between foods and how you felt, meal suggestions from your own history and the result of a two-week try-without experiment are all worked out in code from your own log. AI only writes the short, cautious sentence under each card and is never asked for a number.

How we build

We are a small studio, and we use AI to build more than two people otherwise could. Every app here, its backend and the shared code underneath are written with Claude Code. The apps share one foundation, so an improvement in one reaches the others.

Inside the apps, AI does small, specific jobs and you stay in charge. In Trackkie Food it turns a photo into a draft entry for you to confirm, groups foods and puts the patterns in your own log into plain words. In Trackkie Trip it reads receipts so you don't have to type them in.
